i have a SOHC civic turbo and it is slow, what is a cheap way i can go about getting xtra HP?

I think it would only be proper to know what your setup is. "Slow" is a relative term.
To further assist you, I think we should know your mods.

It's a lot easier squeezing 100hp out of a 14 second car, then it is out of a 9 second car.
