I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I believe detonation or just too much HP snapped a rod into several pieces, there is a rather large hole in the back of the block and 2 smaller holes in the front and back of the oil pan respectivly.
Im very impressed with the damage done.
Im waiting on some more tools to I can actually remove the engine from the car, and I prey my head is OK, else Im going to have to save up for more goodies.

As some may recall, a couple months ago I got smart, and ran 26psi on accident going over gandy... well here's some of the aftermath.
Im still waiting on an engine lift to rip the old motor out.

Yeah, my website is slow. Blow me.

so wait... wasnt it originally a 22 psi spike? I thought thats what you said when you were on the phone, askin for help... and telling us that you broken down at Imperial.
IIRC, your T3 had a 7psi actuator on the internal gate right? and a 2psi drop thru that FMIC.
And you were running the Profec B right?
im just trying to think... On Kelly's car (the one that walked you at only 14 psi
), it still has the stock turbo and 9psi actuator... the Profec B on Hi boost, cranked all the way up, only allows it to get up to 22 psi, on a COLD day. On Sean's car w/ the 50 Trim, the 14psi actuator and the SAME EBC... his would hit 29 on cold weather.
So, i guess what im getting at is... if you DID happen to run 26 psi (Thanks George
) you might want to check out your actuator... that might be busted and not pulling the WG open.
Oh, and if there was a boost spike, that means that there wasnt enough fuel to support that much airflow, so its most likely the breakage was caused by detonation... not the sheer amount of HP. If the car was STILL runnin super duper mega-happy rich w/ the boost spike, then its just a matter of not having enough octane... cuz a car will still detonate regardless of how rich it is if there isnt enough octane to support the airflow.
Oh, and you probably bent at least 2 valves. the same thing happend on Kelly's car, and the piston went up to the top of the bore, got bounced back down to the bottom when it ricocheted off the intake valves (and bent them).
Oh sorry, my finger slipped, i didnt mean to insert that

Kelly's car is tuned and I was at 10psi when she slaughtered me. 5 more psi fixed the gap between us.
I was running rich as hell aparently at 15psi. However, Im sure my compression ratio was ~13:1, I'd do the math, but Im lazy...
I never saw the boost. George told me 22psi at first, and later said 26... *shrug* Simply going by his word. I don't think he's lied to me yet.
There was no boost spike. It was me not reading the boost BEFORE I freaking ran it WOT across the bridge like a normal person would.
It's good to know that you finally realized the Talon is her car.
Thanks for reminding me about that.
Call BS all you want, bottom line is I blew the motor.
All I saw was 130 pegged on the needle and watching everything fly by really quick.
