Are there any differeneces in intake manifods from a gsr to a ls...also is there a differenvce between a Auto LS manifold and a manual...

i ask these qustions because i was looking at a pic of a ls motor in someones hatch and i have a breather line on the valve cover. and there is a some type of valve on the intake manifold on the top.

yes they are completely different and are not interchangeable

 

well there is some sensor on the intake manifold...i am tying to figure out what it is...havent seen i on any other manifold

actually any competant welder can easily modify a b18 manifold to accecpt a b16/b18c5 manifold if u get a b16 intake gasket and line it up you will see its only 1 flange need to be cut. i will have one on my swap once done. ill take some pictures of how it turns out

you can also do the same to a gsr head but its alot more complex
