Default 93 dx auto tranny question

Have there been any TSB's from honda about these trannies as far as the casing cracking. As i have a bone stock never modified 1.5 dx and i was going to change the oil today when i noticed a hole about 2" X 2" in my tranny it is right in the middle by the lower bolt that connects the block and tranny together.. It loks as if someone cut it out with a laser very clean break, but heres the weird thing the tranny still has fluid in it how that is possible i have no idea as when you look inside the hole you can see the gears etc in the tranny,Im thinking about taking it to a honda dealer to see what they can do,as i would think this would be a defective part, any info help would be appreciated.

Also what trannies are compatible with this motor or would there be any benefit to getting something other than another dx tranny..

thanks

Find an EX tranny, they are geared shorter.
