WTF should I do..? NEED HELP !!!!!!!
Car:99 civic ex automatic
Conversion I did: 96 B18B motor, 5 spd conversion, 00 si ecu, 99 ex automatic harness
ECU's I have tried: 00 si ecu (in the car now runs but has codes for vtec, crank angle, and high idle - 00 ex ecu runs great until 5k when it cuts out I think this is because of a dual cam distrubuter not working with a single cam ecu...
Ok now for the problem I drove two hours to crystal river to pick up my 99 ls ecu finally, But when I get there it also will not plug up just like the 97 I have at home so I try a 00,and samething the plugs on the ecu are just like obd2a with no pins in the middle plug...I need no pins on the far right plug like my 00 si ecu and my 00 ex ecu was my delima is that I need to find a daul cam non-vtec ecu with no pins in the far right plug like my 00 si I might try a 99-00 dx ecu but I think it will do the same thing as the ex did and not rev past 5k or else find a way to get rid of my codes cuz right now Im running in safe mode and it suck major balls or should I just shell out the cash for a harness and convert to obd-1 and say to hell with it and if so anyone have a harness and an obd-1 ls ecu? Sorry its so long winded... If any one has been through this or has any suggestions they would be very much appreciated thanks in advance Oh and kenji Im looking in your direction lol

The 99 Teg ecu is still version A. I can make you an OBD2b to OBD2a conversion harness, or OBd2-1 harness. All the time you spent driving around and buying other ecus that havent fit would have probably paid for it.

ok cool man are you local I think we have talked before on the phone I was looking for an obd2b to obd2a harness at the time...that was months ago and I still don't have this thing straightened out im such a procrastonator...
