Default 96 Gsr Mileage??

I have a 1996 GS-R and im getting about 30 MPG round town, is that good? or should i be gettin better mileage?

i just checked my gas mileage yesterday. i ended up with 305 miles to a tank. this is with mainly city driving and 550cc injectors

yeah u get really good gas mileage, i think my cars gotten to the point where it is gallons per mile not miles per gallon.

That's about the same as I get on my 2000. Don't let these people get to you. You don't have to "drive the fuck out of it" to appreciate this car.
I was driving a friend of mine across the skyway, doing about 4,000 rpm and he couldn't believe how smooth it was compared to a Dodge, just holding a finger on the gearshift. Don't even THINK about reading some sordid Freudian meaning into that, people.

I average 28 mpg on any given tank, bout 50% city and 50% highway. I have an auto LS though. Highway I average like 30-35 mpg depending on the season. City always sucks.
