new itr swap = no start at times???

Default new itr swap = no start at times???

just swappd in new itr motor and it started right up...now after 128 miles of break in parked in the garage tried to start it up for a drive but no go....waited five minutes and then it started right up, came back home turn it off and tried to start it again but no go...what gives?? i checked all the grounds on the battery, starter and altenator......nothing seems out of place.....i check the voltage of the batter and altenator and it's good...what else could it be???

how many miles on the swap? i'd guess ignition switch or maybe a short somewhere

The same thing happened to me man, it was my rotor, the screw came loose and stripped the fitting. Definately check that.

but if it was to be my distibutor shouldn't my starter still try and turn the fly wheel??? i turn the key and nothing happens not even an click

if u are getting nothing at all ur ignition switch is gone, or it is a main fuse relay

check all the grounds, and make sure there tight!
