My Civic didn't come with sway bars at all. I drove it for about 4 years without them. I eventually put big sway bars on my little Civic HB for a while and it made a huge difference in cornering. Pretty much zero body roll and it gave me a little too much confidence cornering at higher speeds which can be a bad thing if you don't know your cars limits. It also made the car feel much more solid / stable driving straight at high speeds. It's one of the most noticeable differences you can do to suspension IMO. Way bigger difference then strut / tie bars.

There's the 27mm bar, pos dc sport lower tie
the beefed up brackets that progress includes with their sway bars (along with all the hardware, etc..)
The adjustable end links made by progress, you can also see the adjustable settings on the sway bar.
I'm running the o.e. up front with a 27mm Progress rear sway and I love it! In combination with a spoon front strut, spoon rear strut, dc sport rear lower tie (pos, you can bend with your hands .. like the shit strut bars on eBay..), h&r springs and an autopower roll cage ... she handels great!

Yeah, ok thats an example of a versatile sway bar...Now, what kits are available for the non-sway bar chassis's like the DX, EX Rear, CX, LX, and others? Chassis Mounting Points need attention and then we can deal with sizing and tuning of the sway bars...

Progress makes a 24mm rear sway for the 92-95 Civic. Options Auto Salon sells them for $209. http://www.optauto.com Hit up Honda-Tech.com and see if anyone has any used bars for sale on there.. or eBay .. The progress bar is a quality piece I've also heard good things about the suspension tech bars..
