Default New civic,wheel question.

Wife just got a new civic lx.Is putting 17 inch wheels on it bad for the car??Like the drive train?Just curious.

wheels dont hurt the trans axel or axels only your lower from stock specs will do this

but if you go larger than factory expect a hp diffrence (slower) espceially if your car is stock, now if you have it modded to hell it doesnt really matter, just .02 cents

the bigger rims will change the final drive of the tranny to a lower gearing ie slower acceleration
