up and down side to the ls/vtec
i did a search and didn't find anything on it but i juss wanna know the good and bad about the ls/vtec..i heard that its a pretty fast but isnt to good as a daily driver...i'm not a honda guy so please dont flame on me...

ok....im assuming youre camparing to a GSR motor. let say with all the same mods in each motor.
LS/VTEC
good- price/availability of block, and extra displacement
bad- rod/stroke ratio, not as safe for high revs, no oil squirters
GSR
good- made for vtec, no modifications are necessary for head, better rod/stroke ratio for high revving, stronger rods, better oil lubrication
bad- availability/price, 37cc less than LS block(not quite a negative tho)
LS/VTEC
