I don't get it, theres so much fuss between too high compression with CTR and piston/valve clearance... but complaints about not enough compression with ITR's... b16 are right inbetween and there lighter!!! Is it just bc people want to say they have "ITR" parts in there motor?

I guess it all depends on what your goals are and what type of setup your looking for. I am currently rebuilding my gsr block with JDM ITR .25 over pistons...not because there "ITR" pistons but because I wanted a good all around streetable, pump gas setup which would provide me with more all-motor power versus the stock gsr setup. I was looking into getting CTRS but was told as well that it probaly be a little too much for what Im trying to acheive.

It's quite a difference when you are trying to figure out who someone is talking about.

Go with Type Rs for Less worries!

Don't run big cams like Jun 3's or Sk2 stage 2s or it may hit. OEM cams will work great.
