Default dx to si change over

We just did an 91 DX to SI swap on my dads friends car and everything went great but there is a check engine light. Its comming up as #7 which is TP Sensor (Throttle Position). I need a way to either fix it or just by pass that sensor.

You can't bypass that sensor you need that sensor for the ECU to pick the correct map for the amount of throttle you are applying...

Check the voltage on it...There are 3 wires, one is ground and one is the output...Figure out which one is what...Use a voltmeter and measure the sensor so you see .48volts or so when the throttle is closed and 4.8 or so when the throttle is wide open, if you don't get similar readings, then you have to adjust the sensor's alignment till you get that reading...

when doing the DX to SI changeover did you remeber to swap the wires on the throttle postion sensor. the two outer wires need to be swapped around because th dx throttle sensor operates the opposite direction from the si sensor.
