to make a long story short, there is water in my motor. I may not be a certified honda tech but i know thats not good. My starter seems like its shot, it clicks but wont turn the crank also my battery is now totally drained. Is there any help for my motor or am i better off getting a swap.? Im looking for an ls motor and have about a grand to spend

Consider yourself lucky if you have water in your motor and the car can't crank...Water cannot be compressed and will bend the rod and possibly cause more damage...

yeah its called Hydro Lock. Do not try to start he engine without making sure all of the water is out, because bent rods are not any fun.
Other than drying things up you should be fine.

why wouldn't the motor be ok if he didn't run it? I'm confused about this.

now if he was driving around in water and the engine suddenly stoped/locked up and would not crank at all then its probably hydro locked.

if there is water in the motor he had to have done it while it was running unless the water flooded up in ur car, let me guess u have a CAI or u hit some big ass puddles. chances are u already bent a rod, once they are bent it wont start up. sohcsicivic or something along those lines hydrolocked his motor too, same complaints as u have. its time for a new motor my friend. pull the head off and see how it looks though.

yeah my cold air sucked a nice puddle. i took out the plugs and there is water sitting in the block. I think my motor is fucked. why wont the starter crank, can thrown rods or bent valves cause that?
