Help (ill give you stuff)
i have a 92 civic hatchback with a CX bottom and a DX top, i just replaced the tranny (is now DX) but the engine is bogging like crazy, the idle bounces from 1200 to 1500 and back over and over when its sitting, and if i even come close to trying to push the car it bogs, somebody told me it might be the throttle positioning sensor, but i think that we might have hooked something up wrong because also my temp gauge isnt working, anyone have any suggestions or wanna help me? let me know or PM me
I really dont know what could be going wrong, we checked all the connections and as far as i know they are all right, isnt it weird for that to go the second i get a new tranny in? i really feel that we might have hooked up something incorrectly, but ill double check, thanks
on the throttle body, start it up and listen for a whistling, i know a bolt came out of my throttle body and it fucked up the idle too.

I looked, I dont hear anything, i really really have no idea what the hell is wrong, i live in the Largo area, and work in new port richey, so if anyone manages to solve this problem for me, weither telling me how to or coming to help me, ill hook you up with an APC boost guage and a Faze Volt meter, both guages are unused and have instructions *have all pieces for both, instructions for just the volt meter*
Did you hook back up the tranny ground tight? Stalling is usually too much fuel, something choking your IACV, TPS and MAP sensor connectors are swapped, ECU isn't getting proper voltage, Fuel Filter is clogged, Fuel Pump is dying when you ask for power...
When does it stall? What exactly are you doing to have it stall? Idle bouncing like that can also be your Thermo Valve under your TB...

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
Sounds like you mixed up the TPS and MAP sensor plugs.

Also after you try anything reset the ecu. Idle problem could be the FITV but that usually doesn't create a bog.
