wiring Help!!!
i had an internal coil obd 2 dizzy converted to obd 1. but the wireing harness is made for the external coil. the car only runs when the external coil is pluged into the wiring harness. but the coil wire is not hooked up due to the internal coil on the dizzy. is there any way to fix this problem. i want to get rid of the external coil all together. and also my tachs do not work anymore. any ideas.

I'll look at some diagrams tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

kevin this is what the guy told me to do. but i am not sure cuz he says to solder the blakcs wires. but there is only one. bleck with yellow strip, yellow, and blue. but here it is.
"Solder the black wires together where you discarded the external coil plug. Then look at the plug at the distributor. I believe the 7 pin connector on the distributor side has an extra blue wire. This wire needs to be added to the harness side and lengthened and soldered to the blue wire where the external coil used to be. the yellow wire... Damn. I need to see this car.. I can't remeber. I believe this need sto be extended to the other distributor plug to complete the tach circuit. "
let me know what you think.
