Default crank pulley & timing belt gear....how many keys?

is there suppose to be one key for each the crank pulley and the oil/ timming belt gear? or just one long one on the type r motor? i have a new one from acura but it seems to be too short only enough to fit the crank pulley and not the timming belt gear...doesn't the timming belt gear have one too?

theres 4 in the whole motor although some have slight variations in size.

1 for the crank pulley
1 for the timing gear

1 for the timing gear? Is it a SOHC or a DOHC?

Dude theres not KEY for the timing gear, the crank pulley and the cam pulleys thats all...

The timing gear uses the 2 guide plates...

Actually the lower timing belt gear has its own key machined into it. It also uses the guide plates as well.

wow nobody knows the real deal on this......the timing gear has a groove cut out for the key then the guide plate then the crank pulley....so i assume that there are two keys one for the crank gear then one for the pulley....i hope that i'm right...the last motor i pulled had only one key...but this timimng gear does not already have its own key machined into it. who knows anymore

the timing gear has a key for it. thats why if u look at a timing gear there is a groove cut into the inside of it.
