Default help me with my integra question:

just reciently a noise, like a sharp metal vibration maybe, has developed in the 3-4k rpm range. if i put it into a lower gear and go above 4k i cant hear it anymore, same as below 3k. it makes the noise when not in gear also. i cant see anything loose as far as the exhast system goes and im stumped. does any one have any ideas or suggestions?

This might sound fucked up, but make sure you're fenders are secure. Ive seen looser fenders make some fucked up noises.
