turbo or no?

Default turbo or no?

I am planning on putting a turbo on my 00civic si, do i need to lower the compression? or are stock pistons fine? right now i have skunk 2 cam gears, VAFC,FPR pulley kit intake and exhaust. And what turbo kit should i get?? thanks

of course we would always suggest forced induction. using stock internals all depends on how much u want to boost, how much Hp you want, how much ur willing to spend, and all of that. but just a highly recommended suggestion, get hondata.

custom t3/t4 turbo kit, ACT clutch, stock motor and 8psi.... 13.4
same mods with JE pistons and 13psi...12.8@111

only fuel upgrades at the time were RC310cc injectors a fuel pump and a vortech fmu.

switched to hondata several months ago along with a new motor a few times in between, and my car runs 10 times better/ and more reliable than it ever has but unfortunately i dont have any times to share with the current setup. all of this was in a 99 si with full interior, A/C, P/S, etc.

hopefully that giveu a rough idea on what your car can run

JE/SRP 9.5:1 in a GSR
but they only yielded like 7.8:1 in my b16 at the time

99b16si did you ever have any problems running the turbo on the stock engine?

no not until i turned it to 10psi untuned and it blew up
