Who has a code book??? i just put a jdm b16 into my 99 si...im getting ecu codes 4 and 5....can someone look this up for me????

Code 4: CKP Sensor (Crankshaft Position Sensor)
Defective circuit or unplugged/ Defective sensor

Code 5: Map Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure)
Mechanical problem/Disconnected piping

is there anyway to get around the ckp sensor? we put in an older block that doesnt have it.

you can also convert the old oil pump to mount the CKP, I have converted many non obd swaps to obd2...its not a problem, you will need the ckp sensor and a crank gear from an obd2 bseries, with those I can tell you how to mount it so it reads correctly, otherwise you have to buy an obd2 oil pump or go obd1...pm me for more details its kind of complex to explain in writing but I can show you in a second or two...

 

yeah, actually dave 99b16si watched me do it to an lsvtec about a year ago, I got the crank gear from him from chad got another one?
