Arrow Good Question

Here is a question out for you dreamerz out there:

1. I have a exellent condition 91 DX hatch [1.5/Auto] and I want to upgrade it badly. And really soon!

What should I get for the engine that would blow those idiots on the road away ?

I am thinking a Predlude engine would make a grown man cry. BUt would be a nightmare to install in my hatch.

A B18 on the other side fits in more easily. When a B16 blows d*ck but sits right in, even with my automatic!

Keep in mind that this car drives like 50miles a day.
I got good duget for this project so dont be shy. Please include apporximate prices.

2. Does anyone have a Wings West kit for 88-91 Hatchback ?

3. Does anyone have nice condition rims that would fit my 91 Dx hatch?

you spelled VTEC wrong.

do a manual swap.

do LS/VTEC or LS turbo

do not put a body kit on the car

I have wheels that will fit your car...what size are you looking for?

The h22? Thats what I will assume.
Definately the most power in that engine. Also the hardest swap.
To make any serious power to "blow" everyone's doors off you will need more than a motor swap. ex: turbo, supercharger, or n20. a super light hatch would be a nice start. Whats the 91 hatch weigh?

Putting a body kit on there will only Slow you down.

Here are official specs:

Ground Clearance: 4.7 in. Curb Weight: 2158 lbs.

Base Number of Cylinders: 4 Base Engine Size: 1.5 liters
Base Engine Type: Inline 4 Horsepower: 92 hp
Max Horsepower: 6000 rpm Torque: 89 ft-lbs.

A H22B with some relocated cold air and new headers+cat would do the trick

The only question is how much that switness would cost me?

JDM H22B motor would run like $2.5-3k and that's not including the harnesses and electronics.

A convertion to a manual would run me at least $1000
