speedometer

Default speedometer

i had a little problem tonight driving home from work. the whole time i was driving the speedometer never worked. it stayed at 0 the whole time. the rpm's worked fine but not the speedometer. help me out to let me know whats wrong and what i need to do

not sure if the 92's had speedometer cables but if so that'll be the reason, it happend to mine and I was out if vtec because of it.

ok so if its the speedometer cable, where is that located so i can check it out cuz i dont really feel like sendin it to some guy and maybe gettin ripped off

o i forgot to mention that this happened about a month ago for like 2 minute then it shot up to the speed i was going. i dont know if that changes what it could be or not

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM RIGHT NOW SO WHEN U FIND OUT TELL ME B/C I DONT KNOW HOW FAST IM GOIN AND DON'T HAVE V-TECH

it won't fix you V-TECH , however, if your car is equiped with vtec it wil fix that. the cable runs from the back or your cluster, down through the firewall and into the tranny. this is assuming you have a speedocable, newer cars use a electrical signal. you'll need to pick up a new one from Honda for about $20

ok i guess ill try to find it. the weird part is that my odometer isnt working either. also for a few days after that started, the first few days when i turned on the car it would work for a few minutes then die. i dont get whats going on.
