Default OBD2 motor in OBD0?

Will an OBD2 D16y8 work in a 89 DX hatch? Using all the obd0 stuffs, like distributer, ecu, harness, rail, injectors, and cable tranny? Will the tranny bolt up and everything work? VTEC doesnt matter.

spoonfed - No one knows what they are doing until they ask questions, and get the information they need. Working on a honda is easy as shit, it's just getting the right componants together. Thanks for your very useful reply.
