My battery light keeps coming on when I rev to 4k or above. My radio and amp also turn off until I return to below 4k? I have checked my alt belt and battery terminals and they seem to be ok. I have also un hooked my battery and let it run for about 5 mins and that went fine. Any ideas?

 

if the belt is fine maybe its a bad alternator?

 

Same thing happened to my buddy! He had to get another battery or something! Especially if your running a high powered stereo system and car alarm!

 

Had the battery and Altentor checked and all is well. Going to try to replace the belt just in case. Thanks

 

fuses.....sometimes if you blow a fuse it will come on. Whick fuse I do not know, i have seen that happen on a couple different ones.

 

found the problem. Looks like the person who I shall not name installed my swap did not tighten down the bolts that hangs the altentor bracket to the block came loose and my bracket was just hangin there. Replaced the bolts and its fine now I hope.
