Default Code 7 YAY!

It seems I cannot win with this car. It is finally throwing a code for its major issue, which is a code 7. Is this the TPS sensor like it is in most Honda ECUs? I dunno if the pr3 is different when it comes to reading codes and research online has pointed me in several different directions. As for the TPS sensors, which one should I pick up if indeed it is the issue? I would assume that most all b series TPS sensors are the same.

For any of you that care, I fixed my fuel issues. A nice Walbro 255 lph pump and a B&M ajustable fuel pressure gauge fixed things nicely. Just messing around with the shot plugs, I cranked the fuel pressure up and allegedly it shot some nice flames. Getterdun!

Get the pump, you won't regret it. Mine was giving up the ghost after 13 years so I highly suggest it. If you ever want to do it and need the tank out and back in under an hour, let me know. I am an expert at doing it now after I was in a rush to beat the impending rain and I wired the fuel pump backwards.

Does your car pop inbetween gears? I swear when mine does this I can see a little white flash on the ground behind me.

tps is easy to fix, get the new one and then grab an ohm meter and stick the red lead into the middle wire on the tps and the black to a good ground....if its at .5 volts closed and 1.0 at WOT leave it, if not make it by taking the screws out a little and moving it around...make sure the little arm in the TB is lined up with the tps....i messed with mine up at SS for about 20 min after I took it off and repositioned it and thought I had it in there and it wasn't...

yeah mine pops between gears and when i am over 5,000 RPM don't switch and let off the gas. it backfires. i've had some as loud as shotguns. the cops didn't enjoy the flames very much. $60 fix it ticket woohoo!

I thought it was supposed to be 4.8 volts tops as measured from the center wire. Who knows.
