was wondering does anybody know what ac compressor bracket i need to use to keep my crx si comp. to bolt it up to my b searies block

 

hasport makes one
you can modify a 90 ls one, hard to do
place racing makes one
a del sol vtec might work but I've never tried

 

I remeber a thread a couple of weeks ago with a similiar question/set up and some one said the del sol would work. I have no idea though. Try looking back through the posts and see if you can find that thread.

I know that you can use a del sol bracket when putting a b-series in a hatch. SO, I suppose it would work for a CRX too?

 

talk to bigsteve he says that a b16 bracket with a stock a/c compressor the type i am looking for works with a swap

i will try the sol bracket and see if it works i have the jdm bracket and compressor but i dont want to change compressors thanks for the feed back ill keep you posted fucarasr if i find a bracket soon i will sell the jdm compressor and bracket ill keep you posted

I believe the Del sol bracket doesn't clear the 88-91 Crx/Civic cross members. But will work with the 92 and up Civics due to that huge open area that they have in front of the engine with no clearance issues. And if the Del Sol bracket worked, why would Hasport and Place Racing even manufacture an after market AC bracket application for the ef's?
