Wasted space? What about verticle wasted space? What about taking longer/wasted time to find something?
Compare how much longer it takes to read the TR "events" forum now that we take up more lines to essentially say the same thing that we once said simply........

If you need to visually see what I talk about. count how many times you have to hit the "page down" button when reading 40 threads in Tampa Forums compared to how long and how many times a person has to hit "page down" when reading 40 threads in Tampa Racing. Entire home page of TF takes 5 page downs, home page for TR takes at least 7.

We don't need the picture of an envelope and the other glitzy stuff to tell us it is a different thread in a forum. we already have dividing lines between threads to tell us it is a different thread.-Bob

Unfortunately......... It did not cut/paste like it actually looks in the forums.
Here's 4 threads from Tampa Forums (couldn't find 5 together)......... for comparison, go back and look at them to see what I'm talking about. Notice how much verticle space on a page is taken up with 4-5 forums at TR and how much space and page downs must be used at TForums.-Bob

If I cannot find a way to do/say this better.........groan

I think I get what your saying but your examples arent really showing it. The forum activity icons could use a little shrinking for sure.

This is my first day on since the switch. I must say, I'm having a hard time getting the "feel" for it.

maybe too much of a change from the old style?

It is almost like things are quite intuitive enough. Like things aren't exactly where I "think" they "should" be.
