This hat offends my stepmother

I’ve got a hat that I really love wearing around my family, even though they’ve told me it offends them…
Here’s why…
My mom died of cancer when I was in my 20s (many years ago).
Three years later, my dad remarried.
And the woman he married (my stepmom) is okay, as long as we don’t talk politics, because – hold your gasps – she’s a liberal.
But guess what she did at the start of the pandemic?
She called me and asked to order some survival food (many of my liberal relatives did).
So, I sent her some survival food.
And I didn’t even give her a hard time, though I’d been telling her to stock up on food forever.
Later, she called for advice on what gun to buy for personal protection.
Again, I helped her out.
But what grated on me… and what really annoys me about my liberal relatives…
It’s that they’re such hypocrites.
They bad mouth me for stocking up on a ton of survival food, until they realize they need it themselves.
And they continue to bad mouth the Second Amendment even after they realize they need a gun for home defense.
Get this: They told me my hat (pictured below) offends them – and this was after they called and asked me about buying guns.
Of course, I couldn’t care less if the hat offends my relatives. I’ve never been shy about my support for freedom and the Second Amendment.
Now, there’s little doubt in my mind that you might have a relative or two like mine.
