In 1987 when NRA President Marion Hammer led Florida to pass the first right-to-carry
In 1987 when NRA President Marion Hammer (Who was a female by the way...)
led Florida to pass the first right-to-carry law,
leftist democrats forecasted (as they always do) that FL would become
"an armed camp" and predicted "calamity and carnage".
Leftist democrats were the same group who predicted shootouts at traffic lights and that Fl would become "Dodge City". National Fake News labelled FL as the "Gunshine" state.
As always the hysterical leftist democrats were wrong.
Floridas homicide rate WENT DOWN. As it always does where citizens
are allowed to defend their family against criminals.
FBI Uniform Crime Reports show the murder rate for Florida in 2015 was LESS THAN HALF OF 1987.
Right-to-carry permit holders are more law-abiding than the general public.
The percentage of the public that supports a handgun ban plummeted
from 42% in 1987 to a mere 26% in 2011.
After 30 years of Right-to-Carry we've come a long way
but YOU WON'T HEAR THIS ON FAKE NEWS.
