Let me suggest that you call a church and ask their permission to park overnight! During the week, their parking lots are often empty and getting NO use! Besides, I don't think Jesus would mind - so, why would the church? And, churches are everywhere - even more than Walmarts!

Truck stops should be last resort due to lack of parking. If you have to park on truck side don't extend slides except when protected by pole or over grass at end of parking spaces. If truck parks beside you they may not see slide is out as most lots have dicey lighting. Also NEVER park



on end of row that a truck can drive around end of the row. If one was to turn too short your rv would be wiped out. This happens more than one may think. Pilot /Flying J and TA/Petro have some paid parking on truck side that in most cases rarely fills up. Routinely the charge for these



parking sites is between 12.00 and 15.00 per night. You can call ahead and reserve these. The major brand truck stops (Pilot /Flying J , TA/Petro and Loves) seem to fill up faster/more than other brands. truckstops. When vacationing I will park at a truckstop as last resort and pay for spot.

Lacy WA Cabela's is great. As a bonus, the local LEO us the lot as a meeting/break location so it's extra protected. That and it's basically assumed anyone camping at Cabela's is armed.

truck scales generally have parking and truckers don't like parking there as they are subject to dot inspections they are usually open 24 hrs and they belong to law enforcement so generally safe
