Did Obama and his federal cronies wire tap President Trump?
But has Obama stepped around the law to wire-tap others with the help of the National Security Agency (NSA)?
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes he did because of a U.S. security leak.
The U.S. security leak of documents by NSA contractor Edward Snowden, documents legitimate enough that German intelligence confronted the United States over it.
Merkel was not happy, and called Obama to let him know.
After the news broke, White House press secretary Jay Carney said “the president assured the Chancellor that the United States is not monitoring, and will not monitor, the communications of the chancellor,” but remained silent when he was asked questions about past surveillance.
