Of course "gun-free zones" work: A criminal is going to enter one of these zones but as soon as he reads a sign proclaiming it a gun-free zone he stops and goes back, because criminals by definition don't obey laws, but they will surely obey this one...

My God, American legislators are incredibly ****ing stupid, but the people that believes their bullshit is even more stupid and gullible.

My place of work is a gun free zone. Do i feel safer? Heck no. But they have cameras everywhere.....more angles if a bad guy does shoot up the place...the media will like the footage.

I mean one department has an estimated 80% of workers on drugs, we get many jail birds through a jail work release program, i personally noticed drug deals happening in our parking lot on break. My job entails me to move a lot so im sure my shirt would lift up and show my ccw if i tried to sneek it in. A few weeks ago a car window was smashed so there goes my safe storage spot.

Oh and some department bosses are real jerks (from handling bad workers so much ) so they often aren't real kind to the people as they walk them out the door. What does this sound like? A news story waiting to happen. Not all the people are druggies at work....most people that are high often are really nice and are addicted that have a hard time quitting. Does that mean that when they are looking for there next fix they don't try to rob or steal to get drug money??? I don't know.I like my job and told the second in charge of my station of my concerns and his reply was if ccw was ok then they would bring a gun.....total sheeple response.

The people he is afraid about are already felons they won't be able to get there ccw license. As you all know criminals don't play by the rules. If i didn't like my job so much i would tell this to the head bosses/owners/CEOs. If i didn't work with or get along with....or fear the druggies so much i would turn there asses in. We already had a police officer come to my work to talk to a worker (really just ask some questions that was it) and as soon as he saw the cops he ran out the back door and left his uniform in the back parking lot with all his work issued gear. I guess it was funny for the other works who heard the whole story.....these are a very few of the people.

Most are good hearted they work to buy drugs instead of rob to buy drugs. Btw the guy who ran came back 5 months later and asked for his job back....big surprise the boss said no. That one department hires those workers since most people don't want to do it or not for the money they get paid to do the s***t work for sometimes 12 hours a day. One guy implied the drugs keep him going for the long periods of time......and were a small town too with all this crap
