Default 2011 Corvette Grand Sport - Vortech Supercharged

This low mile (basically brand new @ 2500 miles) corvette came in with the Vortech Supercharger, SLP longtube headers, and Corsa Cat-back already installed by another shop. With the owner compaining of the other shops work and they way they treated him. He was curious as to what the car would put down on a dyno since the install shop never dyno'd the car. The scary part was that they supposedly tuned it on the street!

Anyway, we did some pulls and were asked to re-tune the car. It quickly became apparent that there was not enough fuel available. One round of changes were made to the programming and the car picked up nearly 50hp but jumped from a peak of 89% injector duty to a solid 100% by 5000rpm. So we backed off the timing slightly and suggested fuel system upgrades.

Here's the before/after:

We just ordered him a full House of Boost fuel system, 80# injectors (for future plans), and will most likely be doing a custom OS based 2bar speed density tune when we get our hands on it again.

Default Update!

We finally got the customer back in to have the fuel system upgrade done and the tune ammended. We ended up sticking with the stock ECM's OS and going with the traditional MAF based tuning approach.

So here's the results after the fuel system upgrade and re-tune:
