The main reason I don't car for Hondas IMA systems is that there currently no way to force the car into EV ONLY mode. Companies have gotten the Prius into EV ONLY mode, but IMA doesn't seem to be as easy. That's why nobody has made a PHEV kit for the Civic yet.
