When i Lived in Maryland, there was a place called PERFORMANCE AUTOMATIC. if you wanted a serious street or race tranny they were the place to go!

I want to have the bands and some other stuff looked at, and replaced with kevlar bands if necessary.

Is there anywhere around here that is similar to that?

I keep hearing CRT is the place to go.. I believe the guy who runs it also runs his Monte Carlo with us every once and a while (correct me if I'm wrong). If you find out, let me know, rolling up on 60k miles myself, and would rather get it built up before it fails, not after.

Thats the CRT guy I believe, and yes as far as I know, he's a transmission repair shop.. so you could save a couple bux by pulling it yerself and bringing it to him.. not sure if he'll do the removal install tho
