Are you testing the prototype intake from Vararam?? I heard they are making on over on the LS1tech board and having Cartek test it. Just wanted to know if this is the same intake manifold??

Dont flame me but they were reporting getting 40hp from just the intake on a heads/cam car. It went from 430 to 470 with the manifold being the only mod. I can dig the thread up if anyone is intrested.

I read the thread about the Vararam intake. This is a completely different intake with a few twists. It may not make any HP it may make 40. Only one way to find out.

I will be dynoing the spray with the run of the mill LS6 intake though.

I read about that - I'd like to see a pic if they ever release one...

Good luck Al!

Well if it's the same Vararam as the C5 version, I can show you where it made something like 11 rwhp increase on the dyno.

And I know Al isn't one to fall for glorified advertisement. So good luck with your prototype, Big Al!
