Good job man. I am curious about LS1 Camaros/Firebirds. It seems that some respond better to mods than others. I have raced a few of them and been door to door or even pulled a little. And then I have raced others like that the guy Calib (Raptor) and he put at least a solid 3 cars on me and he said all he had was a lid and exhaust. I know from experience that he's trapping well over 102. Don't you have the same mods? Is there that big of a difference between a M6 and A4? LS1 guys please let me know. Thanks in advance.
MN6 cars run the big end better than us auto guys, but if the auto has a convertor and traction it is king of the LS1 group. LS1s respond so well to mods since the heads flow SOOOO well stock and can get over 300 cfm with porting work. 102-106 mph is average for boltons in a 4 speed and 106-109 mph for 6 speed.
a few of us run better than that
a few of us run better than that

Well, it's time for more already. I'm looking at some Eibach springs and some kind of headers (haven't decided yet which ones). I have a little money to invest, and I know my car is still not breathing at it's best.

If you are going to lower it and get headers, you might want to stick with either MACs or some sort of shorty due to clearance issues. My car scrapes everything with the MACs because I am running a cat and it hangs lower than the y-pipe. If you are looking for all out power, go with LT's and I would suggest Jet Hot. They had a couple of batches that turned out bad but I have heard they worked everything out. A buddy of mine is running them with a lid, ram air and a little suspension and is pulling 350 to the ground. I know that is nothing new to you but I have seen the power they make and it is nice. Also, they were easy to install. Just something to think about.
Good luck and nice #'s.

P.S. If you are looking to lower your car, you might want to look into www.thunderracing.com and get a package that they have. Its an Eibach Pro kit, BMR panhard rod, and BMR relocaion brackets. I got that package and substituted LCA's for the panhard rod. They were great to deal with and the price is good too, its on sale for $349.

Yeah, the '01s and '02 run a bit stronger than the previous years thanks to a few changes here and there, but I'm happy with my '98, and one day, I just may see 12s.

Hey Blue, did the HPP3 help out any? I hear they're junk for LT1's, just wonder how they are on LS1's.

All I really use mine for is the fan settings (160* thermostat) and the rear end gear ratio. I'll get around to adjusting my shift points one day, but that's probably all I'll use it for.
