Mike Yager loves the Corvette. He bought his first one at age 20. Yager founded Mid America Motorworks, a supplier of Corvette parts and accessories. And he’s even in the National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame. When the C4 concluded its production, Yager received the opportunity to buy the last one off the line. This one.

Not only did Yager get the Corvette, he got to participate in its assembly, helping install the shocks, control arms and wheels.

It is fitting that the last C4 Corvette was delivered to the National Corvette Museum and its delivery was hosted in conjunction with the celebration of life for Zora Arkus-Duntov., creator of the Corvette. Since then, it’s only racked up 43 miles and has remained museum-kept.
