Peter Brock’s reimagined 1963 Chevrolet Corvette heads to auction

A young Peter Brock, under the direction of GM Styling Director Bill Mitchell, penned the sketch that led to the original 1963 Chevrolet Corvette. More than 60 yeas later, Peter Brock reimagined the iconic car.



What did he change? He enlarged the rear windows and used flush mounted glass. Brock accentuated the rear spine. It now features functional scoops and vents. The Corvette body sits on a modern Art Morrison chassis, with C7 front suspension components and an AME independent rear suspension. Under the hood, a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 capable of 725 horsepower. That engine gets paired with a Tremec TKX five-speed manual.



The Studio Concept car is Peter Brock’s personal car and is being directly offered by Brock himself.
