Default One inch crack totals out 2017 Corvette

To expand on WHY it was totaled: The cracked section of the car is on the actual frame/structure and not a piece individually offered by Chevrolet. Since the car couldn't be "put back to original" condition, as insurance typically promises after an accident, it was deemed a total loss.

K.J. G.

If you live in NJ be careful when buying a salvage car as they say it has to be in original factory condition, even for hail damaged cars!!!! I bought a second hand car (I cover a large region NY to VA) and did not want to put the milage on my Porsche. The car runs and drives fantastic (2012 VW Jetta) only has 55k on it but has little dents all over, only really noticeable on the roof. I went to get the title registered in NJ and the inspection station stated ALL of the dents needed to be removed before they would pass it!!!!! They still found it in their heart to charge me $250 for the "inspection" they didn't even hook it up to the smog machine, the guy just came out looked at it and said NOPE........ Unfortunately that is par for this god awful state and thank god we also have a property in pa, in which I was able to replace the brakes and a light bulb and it passed with flying colors. This state is so broken it can't help but constantly screw over their own people. We are the Greece of the united states....Only fatter and far more bitter!!!
