I think its sunday? Anyways..the Vette, Viper, F body shootout is at BMP this weekend. I have word from a reliable source that Cartek and LG motorsports will both be there with there latest mac daddy *** heads and cam packages. There has been alot of debate about these packages because they have both put down 470 rwhp naturally aspirated from the stock 346 cubicic inch shortblock with just heads, cam and boltons. Some speculate that its skewed dyno #s as they were both tested at thier respective shops dyno's. Well there is supposed to be a dyno at BMP and we will also see track times and trap speeds which will give them a chance to back up thier claims. If the HP figures are correct we should see stock bottom NA LS1s with only heads and cams running in the 126-129 mph range depending on weight. Pretty awesome considering these motors will still get 22-25 mpg and be as streetable as anything.

I for one will be there to pay close attention to see what the competition is doing.

When, what time and how much?!

 

Its from 9am to 5 pm sunday at BMP. Like $5 to spectate. I will be headed down with Datruth around 10 am.

 

I am definitely considering going. If I do, I'll just look for DaTruth in the crowd, can't miss him. If I'm there, I'll stop and introduce myself.
