Why not an auto? I heard the T5's snap at like 300 hp. If you want it manual I'd say go with a Tremec T56.

I question the 500hp built 350... But if you want a 5 speed then a TKO is the way to go, want a 6 speed, Go T56 or TKO...

T5's snap behind 200hp 305's... and there "rated" at 300 ft/lbs not HP

What?

A shift kit doesnt make a transmission handle more power... It speeds up and firms shifts.... To find a manual to withstand that power you will be dropping close to 2k in a conversion for that car, maybe more. A T56 setup will cost you 2k and then a lil more getting it right. A TKO 5 or 6 speed alone is 3500+ then clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, shifter, driveshaft, hydraulics and by that time your at 4500+....

well depends on what you want, Is this going to be a drag only car? If so a Powerglide

Will it be for street and drag? if so a Th350 or TH400 will be good...

Do you care about gas milage? and streetabilty? then a TH200R4 or TH700R4
