Default camaro 35th anniversary edition

im about to pick up another car its a 2002 camaro 35th anniversary edition and i was wondering if any one knows a lot about them the guy im getting it from is an older man its his daily driver but it runs like a dream has a carbon fiber hood with scope and about 5 grand in the suspension on the car it handles really smooth and i was wondering if there was any thing really wrong with the car that year like what they were known for doing like rx7s like to over heat stuff like that. Just like to get some feed back on wat ppl think about that year and make of that car

Camaro and Handling shouldn't ever go in the same sentence.

I've got a buddy that works for Goodwrench, I'll ask that he poke around at work, just in case there are any know issues. Did you check the NTHSB for recalls and TSB's?
It may not hurt to scope out some of the bigger GM/Camaro/Vette forums, and ask the same questions.

can't go wrong with an ls1 car IMO. currently looking for one myself. you said it has a carbon fiber hood? are you sure? they came stock with a fiberglass hood with a scoop, don't see why anyone would wste money on a c/f one. there realy aren't many common problemsassociated with the cars that I know of. but with a few cheap mods they are extremely fast and still deliver an average of around 25 mpg. good luck with it, as long as it hasn't been ragged and abused you should be very happy with it. you can check out sites like www.ls1tech.com an www.ls1lt1.com for more specifcs and info on these cars

also with it being an 02 it will have the best options available for the generation. the good intake, heads ect.
