Posting for a friend....What would be the best cam for an LS1with average cost in mind?

 

The LS1 hotcam. This is still a streetable cam and produces good power. This cam headers exhaust intake and dyno tune the car should get about 350 wrhp and 360 ft lbs of torque

 

After looking into this some more I have noticed a lot of guys running the T1 cam. Ive been asking around to get an idea of which one I might want and the majority of people I talk to say go with the T1. In fact I saw a post on Badrap where Al says good things about them.

 

I like the T1 or B1 over Hotcam...but the Hotcam is a great deal moneywise...comes with everything you need.

 

What do you have HybridSS?

 

Hahaha...you dont want my cam...its a nitrous cam.
.539/.585 230/246 on a 114 lsa.
That gets me about 425 on motor..if I went to a single pattern cam I would see around 450 on motor but a 100 shot would put me around 550 total VS the 575 or so that I see on spray with this cam. So its a trade off skewed for the higher end of the HP scale...right where I like it. BTW..I have a a second stage now.....wet shot...looking for 700rwhp and around 800 rwtq. Just have to do some small changes to the fuel setup.

All i need to do is get the hood and rims and maybe a couple little cosmetic things done some tuning and suspension stuff and thats it... Even if it takes getting a girl friend... then i wont have anymore money... Why didnt i think of that before?
