SLR Motorsports Performance Chips

i was thinking about buying a chip and i ran across this place. I do highly doubt i will get 50hp from it, it is still a pretty cheap chip. i was just wonder if anyone delt with this place or purchased anything from them. thanks

 

your buying a chip for what?sounds like you are wasting your money

 

I had a diablosport predator on my bone stock 99 LS1 automatic car and gained 30 rear wheel horse and 22 rear wheel torque. I don't know of any "chip" that will do that on an LS1.

 

its for a 94 camaro v6, im just having kinda a hard time find an assortment of performance parts for that engine. I KNOW the thing to do would be swap for a v8. as much as i would love that i dont have the money nor the time. i just wanna get some extra power out of it. mayb like 200whp give or take.

i was thinking about do a small shot, mayb like a ZEX kit or something. but that wont be for some time in the future. Kids are expensive lol, need i say more. anyway while i have your guys attention i would like to change direction of this thread. I just recently bought the 94 camaro. it was an awesome deal. to make a long story short 76xxx miles $2,200 new tires, brakes, a.c, etc. the problem is i have a severely strong gas smell coming from the car. even if the car is off for a while the gas smell stays surrounding the car. its not leaking anything at all the engine bay is very clean and dry, as well as under the car, not even the slightest bit of dripping. the check engine light is not coming on (providing it works). and with it being OBD1 discount auto parts, autozone, etc. cant look at it. also the idle is fine. just wondering if anyone has an idea. if you need more information to get a better idea i will gladly provide it. thanks
