I recently purchased a 79 corvette and I have to manually open and close the head lights, all it needs is for the vacuum line for the lights hook back up. But the problem is that it has a Holly Carb. and a after market intake so where would be a good place to draw vaccum from for the lights? Cause I do not see anything on the intake I could connect it to.

 

could be a # of problems or real easy you can call or stop by

 

I dont stay in florida I just like using tampa forums because they have good reliable information and quick answers to most of my questions. but I do know its the vacuum line because its not connected to anything and the previous owner told me he put something on the vaccum line and lights raised

 

the last 79 vette I had had the same problem
that's been 16 or so years ago but I just purchased a vacuum t and split off another constant vacuum If i recall correctly.
