Default 98 K2500 question?

My compressor isnt kickin on, I have replaced the fuses, a/c relay, checked for voltage, made sure all sensors are hooked up, I dont have 12 volts at the compressor clip, I can jump 12v to it, But cant figure out where the 12v comes from to engauge the compressor? Anyone ever experienced this?

Thanks Cole

check your low pressure switch on the filter/dryer (shiny silver metal canister on pass side) and theres a switch on the side with 2 wires. pull the plug off and stick a paperclip on the wire side and connect the two together. if the compressor kicks on from doing this then your low on Refridgerant. if not the problems get bigger and better. go try that and see what happens
