Default saturn question

well its is a "GM" so i figured id ask in here. its just a daily. my question is hoe come my odometer quit working but the speedo still works? what do i need to repair to make it all funtion properly again? thanks for any help

interesting... The speedo and odo are usually run from the same sensor. Its called the VSS (vehicle speed sensor).

thats what i thought so im wondering if its something in the cluster itself

if it's an older saturn, the gear in the cluster either stripped or broke. happens a lot in the 91-94 clusters

its a 93 sl2...can i repair it by fixing the gear or should i just swap out the cluster?
