So, I've made up my mind
The Camaro is going under the knife and the 305 is coming out, but she's going back in until I can afford a 350
So while the motor is out I am going to replace...
-Intake Manifold Gaskets *PURCHASED*
-Exhaust Mani gaskets *PURCHASED*
-Water Pump Gaskets *PURCHASED*
And I will put these on... All the parts I am buying/installing on the 305 will be able to go onto the 350, that way I am not wasting any money, just buying parts before I have the motor
-Carb: NEED SUGGESTIONS
-Distributor: 65K volt Hei *PURCHASED*
So basically I am looking for ya'll to critique my set-up and give me some suggestions, I have no clue what carb to run let alone what size, but I have always favored Edelbrocks.
I also want to install a locker before the 350 goes in, any suggestions, I am thinking about a 3.42 or 3.73s...

look here for carbs, it should take you to the carb application chart http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_..._app_chart.pdf
Well, right now the 305, but if I could stretch it, I would want it to be able to be bolted down onto the 350 and be able to handle it with the same intake/headers...

not to sound like an S-talker but let me get it straight.
you're taking the 305 out, refreshing it with the new parts you're buying etc.
then you're putting the 305 back in
then you're going to get a 350
swap the new parts from the 305 to the 350
then swap the 350 in.. ?
if that's the case, why don't you just save your money up now for the 350 and swap that it.. just seems like it would cut out a lot of uneeded wasted time.
either way the car should be fun with a 350

The 350 will be awhile form now until I had the money.\
The 305 NEEDS it, badly.
I need the 305 to drive.

Work has begun, I got the minimum of what I wanted to get done plus a little bit more.
I removed...
-Hood
-RH Fender
-LH Fender
-Bumper
-Bumper Support
Starting to get dark so I decided to clean up.
