Default Removing the exhaust

Im helping a friend remove his exhaust off his 2002 z28. I looked at it today and I was wondering what the quickest way to remove it from the Y pipe back was, any links to some instructions? It seems like its going to be a bitch where it goes over the rear end. Also there is a really rusted bolt that is being stubborn any ideas on how to get it off before I go get my friends impact gun tried wd40 and didnt work

disconnect the clamp on the I-pipe from the muffler and disconnect at opposite end. jack the back of car into the air and allow the rear to drop all the way and just try to fish it out

worst case scenario, bust out the sawzall

Try some PB Blaster and a bigger wrench on the bolt.

But Like Alex said, Jack the back of the car up to fish it out.

use a torch on the nut and heat it till its red hot so that it expands and then use impact it will come right off. try to keep the heat off the bolt as much as possible and be sure to clean all wd-40 off first

on my old camaro I had to take the torque arm off. not sure if that whats it's called but the arm that goes at a 45 degree anlge from one side to the other with the back jacked up also made it real easy
