oh and what year ls1? there was some issue with the oil pumps being kinda lame on the ones before 2000, i think.

mike, real question, have you had your 240 up on a dyno for a pull to check the A/F? it really does sound like its leaning out and breaking up, up top.

could just be the open exhaust, if you've had it tuned, then thats cool. if not, I'm sure martin would hook it up for a pull to be sure.
